How do I clone my SSD C: boot drive with PPM15...oughta be simple/obvious, isn't

The power of PPM15 is obviously enormous, but how to do something so essential and simple isn't clear. Running W7. Go in PPM15, select copy/migrate, create a virtual image of the C: boot drive OK, but then Oow do I clone it onto a drive visible on the system Or should I have done a backup and then restore. Disappoint that PPM has become so powerful that simple tasks are obscure...
